TV network execs haven't met a show they aren't ready and willing to revive.
Ever since Netflix successfully brought both Full House and Gilmore Girls back to life, we've been inundated with zombie shows roaring back to life at a regular pace. While some revivals make perfect sense (Who among us hasn't clamored for more Will & Grace), other have come out of left field and left us scratching our heads (Prison Break, anyone?). But one thing's for certain: This trend of execs robbing graves to prop up struggling line-ups isn't stopping any time soon. Aside from the aforementioned Will & Grace revival, already renewed for a second season ahead of its fall debut, the 2017-18 will also see the returns of Roseanne and American Idol, both on ABC, with The X-Files waiting in the wings at Fox.
With that in mind, we thought it was time to take a look at some of our most cherished TV shows and get real about the chances they'll be back on our screens in the future. From Friends to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Happy Endings to The Hills, we're analyzing the odds.
Which TV show would you like to see be revived next? And which do you hope is allowed to rest in peace? Sound off in the comments below!
