After you see tonight's ep, you'll be wondering, Will this series survive (please, oh please)? And will Rachel be back?
Well, the first question depends on how long this here strike lasts (I'm told Chuck's fate is most likely to be decided after the WGA strike ends), and it depends on you: If you want to support this show, tell everyone you know to watch it—just so we can make sure it sticks around.
As for the possibility of Rachel returning, executive producer Josh Schwartz tells me, "Rachel Bilson, right now, is only scheduled to do two episodes. [But] she had a really great time. I think at first she was like, 'Oh, I don't know, I just got out of a TV series.' But maybe we could lure her back."
Schwartz says we should brace ourselves for a bit of a triangle: "Rachel and Zach had really great chemistry. Like, the second they were in scenes together, you were like, Uh-oh! This is really complicating the Chuck-Sarah dynamic."
Uh-oh, indeed!
