"Death is inevitable." Gulp.

After far too long of a hiatus, The 100's return is finally upon us, with The CW hit's fourth season premiering on Wednesday, Feb. 1, and we've got an early Christmas present for its fans: an epic new trailer!

In the jampacked sneak peek above, the nuclear power plants have started to melt down...meaning 96 percent of the Earth is going to be uninhabitable and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) once again is tasked with protecting her people.

"if we stick together, we won't just survive, we'll thrive," she tells them, while the tagline for the season seems to be "From the ashes we will rise."

But sticking together is easier said than done, which we see in the trailer, as Monty (Christopher Larkin) and Murphy (Richard Harmon) are questioning her leadership, and Roan (new series regular Zach McGowan) may be making his move to rule.

And though she killed Pike in the season three finale (!), Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is still out for revenge and looking badass AF while doing so. In fact, her need to avenge Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) death is so impressive that Indra (Adina Porter) is "proud" and has earned Octavia a new moniker: "Skyripper." (From now on, we will only answer to this name BTW.)

Of course, there are a few sweet moments in the trailer as well, including a tender hand-holding scene between Clarke and Bellamy (Bob Morley) that Bellarke fans will definitely love.

The 100's fourth season premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
