Watch: Did "Gilmore Girls" Stars Predict the Future?

Can the stars of Gilmore Girls see the fictional future?

Back in June 2015, before the Netflix revival was officially a thing, the GG cast reunited at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, and were asked to predict what their characters would be up to today.

Alexis Bledel guessed Rory was a single, hardworking and "highly ambitious" journalist, while Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson had differing opinions on whether or not Luke and Lorelai were—gasp!—together. Graham said the couple was "100 percent" married, while Patterson believed Luke had closed the diner, moved to a lake, opened a "bait and tackle shop" and was very into fly-fishing, and maybe, just maybe, Lorelai goes to visit him for a lesson and they "rekindle" something. (This is very detailed, right? Has Patterson be been writing fan fiction?!)

Gilmore Girls Revival Photos: Return to Stars Hollow

Cut to April 2016, when E! News visited the set of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, and we played "Hot or Cold?" with the three stars to find out just how off (or on-point) their predictions were.

"Oh no, I was way off!" Patterson said. "I'm no writer. I don't know why I said that...I upset a lot of people!" Yeah, you can say that again. Press play on the video above to see how Bledel and Graham did.

"One of the benefits and something I think we both feel really grateful for in coming back was it's a much more open dialogue than it was," Graham said of returning  to Stars Hollow. "We've had the opportunity to weigh in on where we'd like our characters to be and what we think. It's been a much more collaborative process than it was, which is really fun. So, speaking for myself, it makes complete sense where she is, and the journey that she takes....it makes complete sense. It's juicy."

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will stream globally on Friday, Nov. 25 on Netflix.

Be sure to come back to E! News for more Gilmore Girls Coffee Talk leading up to the revival's premiere.
