Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have a lot to celebrate today!
No, it's not their wedding anniversary, but it's just as important...Six years ago today Eric asked Jessica to marry him, just six months after they started dating. Though they didn't get married until four years (and two kids!) later, it started off the beginning of their ever-lasting romance together.
In fact, Eric sent his wife a beautiful bouquet of flowers in celebration, writing, "Happy 11/11 Thanks for saying yes after only 6 months. It started all this. I love you Eric."
She also shared a photo of the flowers as well as a screengrab of her cellphone at 11:11 a.m.
"6 years ago I said 'YES' to forever #LOVE," she captioned the screenshot.
The couple ended up tying the knot in July 2014 at San Ysidro Ranch, located in Montecito in Santa Barbara County, Calif.
More than 250 guests attended the gorgeous wedding, which took place on the ranch's lawn in a traditional ceremony setting with a backdrop of lavish rose gardens. The guest list included the likes of Jessica's sister Ashlee Simpson and her now-husband Evan Ross, actress Jessica Alba and her family, That '70s Show alum Topher Graceand his girlfriend and Johnson's old football buddies from Yale and the NFL, including Tim Rattay.
Now, the two—who are parents to Maxwell, 4, and Ace, 3—are happily married and so in love with each other.
