No one can deny the fact that there have been more than a few divorces among couples who've done reality TV.
So, we can't help but wonder, is there a reality-TV marriage curse? Or are some relationships just more prone to crack under the pressure of the cameras?
Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin were a long-married couple with eight kids when they became stars of their own TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. They lasted five seasons and then Kate filed for divorce in 2009 amid cheating rumors on Jon's end, and she ended up back on the schedule in Kate Plus 8.
Kate stated at the time, "I really would have thought he'd have been here for the long haul. The weirdest thing is that overnight he became a different person." But after 10 years of marriage, the Jon & Kate part was canceled in the public eye.
It seemed like Bethenny Frankel of RHONY finally got her happily ever after when she married Jason Hoppy in 2010.
The couple then welcomed their adorable daughter Bryn and two spin-off reality shows, Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After, into their lives. However, it all ended with divorce and a nasty custody battle a few years later.
Frankel remains positive as she recently declared, "Life is a journey, not a destination. I'm on the road. And the road is paved with good intentions!"
Meanwhile, cameras can drive us all a little crazy, and that's certainly what happened to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline in the early 2000s.
The pop star and her backup dancer husband opened up about their lives a little too much while shooting home videos for their mini-series, Chaotic. Two years and two kids later, Spears and Federline divorced and Spears' downward spiral began.
