Mariah Carey's Empire episode is finally here and she is delivering. Carey, who isn't playing herself on the Fox drama, does a duet with series star Jussie Smollett on "Infamous."
In the episode, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) calls in Kitty (Carey) to record a new song with Jamal (Smollett) in hopes it will help him overcome his performance anxiety. Meanwhile, Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) faces some competition for Tiana's (Serayah) attention and Cookie's new relationship heats up.
Don't expect any drama between Cookie and Kitty—they're allies.
"She was great. She's fabulous, she's beautiful to look at. Wish I could wear a leotard like that…What Mariah brings to the music industry, she brought to the show. I'm grateful she spent time with us," Henson told press at TCA.
