Amber Heard Hasn't Been Deposed by Johnny Depp's Attorneys as Court Hearing Approaches

Hollywood’s couples divorce drama continues as another court hearing approaches

Amber Heard has yet to be deposed by Johnny Depp's counsel as a scheduled court hearing quickly approaches.

As photographers captured Amber entering an attorney's office Saturday morning, many assumed that a deposition would quickly follow. But according to an Amber insider, the 30-year-old was not deposed by Johnny's counsel even though she flew in from London for that very reason.

"On Friday, August 5, Amber's counsel confirmed that Amber would be arriving at Johnny's attorney's office for her deposition at about 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6," our insider shared. "Amber arrived at the designated time."

Our insider added that Amber "was unable to find a private entrance to the building until around 11:30 a.m. as paparazzi was called in advance of her arrival."

While Amber and Johnny's lawyers arrived at the offices earlier as planned, our Amber insider said the deposition was never started over a ten-hour period.

"Although Amber was ready, willing and able to go forward with her deposition, it was not taken by Johnny's attorneys," our source said. "She waited for 10 hours and at no time, did Amber ever refuse to start the deposition."

E! News has reached out to Johnny's team for any comment. 

The court had ordered Johnny to also appear for a deposition prior to the status conference scheduled for Tuesday. Amber's attorneys, however, have agreed to schedule it for Wednesday as a courtesy to accommodate Johnny. But according to our Amber insider, Johnny's counsel is now claiming to be unavailable in two days.

The domestic violence restraining order hearing remains on the calendar for August 15 and 16. We are told that Amber and her attorneys "are ready to proceed." TMZ was first to report about the deposition news.
