There was a whole lot happening behind the scenes of the 2016 Teen Choice Awards.

While cameras captured co-host Victoria Justice's endless outfit changes and Justin Timberlake's acceptance speech for the first Decade Award, there were some things fans just couldn't see from the comfort of their couches.

In between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump's surprise appearance and Jason Derulo's finale medley of hits, there were a handful of moments behind the scenes that were unfortunately missed by the national broadcast. However, E! got an inside look at all of the candid celebrity bits that helped shape this year's awards ceremony. Drumroll please!

1. Round of Fauxplause

While the show may have sounded lively from across the television screen, some of the applause and cheering was plain fake. Thanks to the help of sound effects used throughout the show, it sounded like the audience was cheering very loudly. However, sometimes it was simply the result of a recording, not an enthusiastic audience.

2. So You Think You Can...Stand Still?

While hosts John Cena and Justice announced the kids from So You Think You Can Dance, the stage managers were frantically trying to get all of the young performers to settle down and take their positions on the stage before their hip hop performance began. Meanwhile, once their routine started, John, Victoria and the show's judge Maddie Ziegler got into a groove of their own on the side of the stage.

3. Selfies with Stamos

While Charlie Puth was singing for the crowd, Fuller House's John Stamos and a fan sitting next to him were spotted taking selfies together. Meanwhile, right before the Netflix sequel won Choice TV Show, the actor was seen crossing his fingers on both hands.

4. A Famous Fan

Comedian Keegan-Michael Key is such a fan of Justin Timberlake that he gave the Grammy winner a giant hug when Justin was walking to his seat during a commercial break. The duo took a few pictures together in between chatting.

5. A Cameron Dallas Craze

When the newly crowned Social Media King Cameron Dallas walked by, girls in the audience went crazy over him, immediately screaming and swarming him with their cell phones, trying to take selfies with him and post to their Snapchat accounts. The 21-year-old Internet personality looked like he was loving the attention. According to an eyewitness, he was charming with the ladies as they freaked out over seeing him.
