American Horror Story season six premieres so soon (Wednesday, Sept. 14) and…we know so little about it. The first teasers have finally dropped outside of Snapchat and there's so much to take in. Like, what is cooking in that appropriately titled teaser "What's cooking?"
According to the Internet, that's the house from the Cartoon Network cartoon Courage the Cowardly Dog.
We know the season takes place in the present and returning faces include Sarah Paulson, Lady Gaga and Angela Bassett, among others. There seems to be emphasis on some frontier-like area. The house, the family out for a walk (look at the dude's hat), the old timey baby cradle with that demon hand and knife. But what's up with the centipede hair?
Could American Horror Story be doing a whole season about a fringe family like the one seen in The X-Files' "Home"? Can you imagine if it was a continuation of the incestuous Peacock family story? The writer of that episode, James Wong, works for American Horror Story now…
Or, could it be the surviving Harmon kid from season one of AHS, all grown up? Or something completely different?
Take a look at the promos titled "The Descent," "Post-Op," "Lullaby," "Sunset Stroll," "Millis Crossing" and "What's Cooking?" above. Which promo creeps you out the most?
American Horror Story season six premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. on FX.
