Wanna get away? Perhaps a getaway with your closest family members is just what you need.

While it may seem like Hollywood's biggest stars enjoy vacations strictly with their BFFs and squad members, we're here to prove you wrong.

Whether it's a summer trip or an annual holiday getaway, several familiar faces make it a habit to get away with relatives. And spoiler alert—they have a really, really good time.

As you likely could have guessed, being near the water is always a huge selling point for stars and their guests. Chloë Grace Moretz, alongside her mom and three brothers, recently spent an entire week at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Whether dancing the night away at the hotel's ORO Nightclub or enjoying private dinners on the beach, it's safe to say Chloe and her crew made the most of their getaway.

Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka and their two children recently traveled to Mexico for a stay at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. In between quality pool time, the couple's children were able to spend time in "The Playroom" where they had access to multiple amenities including the Xbox room, mini runway and spa. The family also attended a performance of Cirque du Soleil while on vacation.

Earlier this month, the family also traveled to Canada when they enjoyed a weekend at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler that Neil described as "majestic, tranquil, awesome."

For Hollywood's biggest stars who don't want to travel out of the country, they are in luck also. LeAnn Rimes and Gwen Stefani love taking their kids to The Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana.

Jaime Pressly brought her boyfriend and son to the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego to celebrate Easter Weekend with everyone's favorite bunny. And there are always the sunny and tropical islands where people can't help but say aloha to year after year.

"Hawaii seems to be a popular choice because it has tons of family offerings," Peta Phipps, editor-in-chief of Swanky Retreats magazine, shared with E! News. "Britney Spears and Megan Fox are avid fans of the Hawaiian Islands."

For some Hollywood stars, vacations won't result in perfect Instagram posts or resorts filled with strangers. Instead, it's all about escaping the public eye and enjoying some quality time in privacy.

"These celebrities want places with ultimate privacy and some sense of seclusion," Peta explained to E! News. "They want the best amenities and services, yet the privacy and seclusion that they require."

Ultimately, some stars can have their cake and eat it too when it comes to vacations. They can enjoy privacy while still showcasing their fun on social media.

When Chrissy Teigen and John Legend traveled to Villa d'Este in Lake Como last month, followers witnessed the family's delicious feasts, morning snuggle sessions with baby Luna and some pretty picture-perfect destinations.

"Someone is enjoying her first vacation," John wrote on Instagram with a photo of his baby girl. So, who's ready to call the family and sail away?
