Steve Irwin's little girl is all grown up!
No really. On Sunday, Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter star will turn 18 and become an official grown-up. The Dancing With the Stars alum recently talked about her upcoming birthday in an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show in her native Australia, where she was asked if she'll be celebrating by drinking Champagne, as she'll be of legal age.
"Yeah, you know, maybe," she said. "It's one of those things where it's never really truthfully been that big of a deal to me, I think because I've been so busy with my life and I'm always running around...so who knows? Maybe one but we'll see. Probably not. I like being in control and I'm going to start with Coca-Cola probably. Maybe I'll have a glass of that."
She said she is also looking forward to seeing what her 12-year-old brother Robert Irwin gets her for her birthday.
"Well, actually, my brother Robert is so sweet, because every year he makes me something," Bindi said. "Last year we had an island theme kind of day and he made me a little pineapple out of plaster and leaves and things and it was so cute so I'm really excited to see what he makes me this year. He won't give me any clues."
"Mum always gets so frustrated because Robert has his lists for his birthday," she added. "But for me, she'll say, 'What do you want for your birthday?' and I'll say, 'A hug.'"
Bindi's mother and Steve's widow Terri Irwin recently celebrated her 52nd birthday. The teen posted a sweet throwback photo on Instagram this week as a tribute to her.
"Happy Birthday to the strongest and most beautiful woman I know," she wrote. "Thank you for being my mother. You inspire me every day. I love you."
