Kristen Stewart has already admitted she wouldn't mind playing a superhero, but what about James Bond?

We got to talking about the British super spy the other day when I caught up with the Twilight star and Nicholas Hoult while they were promoting their new indie Equals.

I asked Hoult what he thinks about having his name included on lists of possible actors to replace Daniel Craig as Bond.

"I think I'm a little bit too young to be honest," the 26-year-old Hoult said, explaining that Bond is in his "30s or 40s."

Stewart interjected, "Yeah, but that's getting a little stale."

After insisting he doesn't think he's in the running for the coveted role, Hoult said, "My vote would be for Idris Elba."

Both dismiss critics who slam casting a black actor or a woman as Bond.

"We'll walk into the screen test and I'll see you dressed in a tuxedo," Hoult cracked. "I'll be like, 'Kristen, what are you doing here?' I'll just turn around and walk straight back out."

Stewart went so far as to imagine how they'd first introduce a female James Bond.

"You start off as the Bond girl and then you think it's just the girlfriend and then you're like, 'She's actually [Bond],'" she said "In the trailer, it's him and then [a] bait and switch."

Hoult said, "I'll be like your Q."

Equals is available now on DirecTV and in theaters nationwide on July 22.
