In a deleted scene from Disney's Zootopia, Judy Hopps, played by Ginnifer Goodwin, and her pal Nick, voiced by Jason Bateman, are seen sneaking around under a food cart. What they accidentally come across is pretty heartbreaking and dark when it comes to Disney films. In this scrapped version of the animated film, predators are made to wear taming collars to keep their bad behavior (like eating other animals) in check.
When Judy and Nick arrive at a "taming party," things get super emo. A group of bears celebrates the moment in a young cubs life where he is given an electric shock collar by the town of Zootopia. It's a tragic moment in a predators life disguised as a coming of age ceremony. In the saddest clip you will ever see, a papa bear gives his son a collar only to watch him get zapped in front of a crowd of onlookers. Who else is super glad Disney decided against going this route?
