Hiddleston has been the center of several dating rumors, and his only confirmed relationship ended in 2011 (with Susannah Fielding). But his hunky British demeanor and his dreamy, romantic ways have created a fascination surrounding his love life and, naturally, linked him to several different ladies throughout the years.

Susannah Fielding: The British actress met Hiddleston on the set of the BBC show Wallander in 2008. They dated for several years but broke up in 2011 when the actor decided to focus entirely on his career.
Following their split, Hiddleston told The Daily Mail, "Acting just demands everything and if you don't give it everything, there will be someone behind you who will."
Kat Dennings: The brunette beauty met Hiddleston in 2010 while filming Thor. They were spotted at Comic-con getting cozy and were photographed later on holding hands. However, they never confirmed their relationship and were not photographed a second time together.
Jessica Chastain: Though Chastain has been adamant about the fact that the two are just friends, romance rumors were sparked in 2013 when an insider close to the pair told The Daily Mail, "Tom is taken with Jess and it's serious. Before Christmas she visited Britain to stay with him and meet all his family for the first time."
However, Chastain has a rule of not dating famous actors. "I have dated an actor before, at Juilliard, but since then, I've only been on a couple of dates with one and I was so freaked out someone was going to take a picture of us, because they were famous," she told InStyle UK.
Lara Pulver: In July 2013, the Sherlock actress and Hiddleston were photographed going out to dinner together, which inevitably sparked some dating rumors. However, two haven't been spotted again since.
Jane Arthy: Hiddleston and the record producer looked awfully cozy at the 2013 Wimbledon finals, and ELLE UK's editor-in-chief even tweeted that she sat next to the actor and "his girlfriend" during the event. However, in an interview with GQ, Hiddleston wrote off the rumor and promised he would let the world know if he was actually dating anyone.
"I understand the curiosity," he said. "One day I hope when there's really something to write home about, then I'll be able to talk."
Elizabeth Olsen: Hiddleston's most recent rumored love interest was with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's sister, Elizabeth. The pair was spotted out several times together in 2015, but the Avengers: Age of Ultron actress said the speculation was totally false.
"I mean, we definitely are friends and we've known each other for about four years. And we happened to be at a restaurant at a wrong time having dinner," she told Refinery29. "We all go out to dinner."
