How's this parents for a summer surprise?!

As moms and dads try to keep kids busy during vacation, Disney has a big announcement that could be music to their ears.

E! News can exclusively confirm a new Frozen story titled Frozen Northern Nights is coming in book form and a TV series. The first novel will debut in July from Disney Publishing while Disney Channel will air a series of shorts and a special from LEGO Group this fall.

"The shorts are unbelievably cool. Fans are absolutely going to love it," Josh Gad shared in a statement. "All of the voice talent from the original film is back. This is going to be unbelievable you guys."

He added, "I think fans love Olaf because he's funny, loyal and a great friend and going on any adventure with him is fun."

The latest announcement comes as Disney continues to expand the Frozen empire. Back in February, Disney Theatrical Group announced that a musical adaptation will open in the spring of 2018 after a limited pre-Broadway engagement in the summer of 2017.

ABC also shared that three members of the original voice cast—Kristen Bell, Josh and Idina Menzel—will reprise their roles for a holiday special, which does not have a title or date set in stone.

For now, Josh is excited about the upcoming summer project that already has his kids pumped.

"I fell in love with Frozen because of the amazing story, characters and music and I'm so honored to continue to be a part of it," he shared. "My kids also happen to be huge fans and it's really special to voice one of their characters."

Josh added, "I'm so unbelievably excited to be back as Olaf."
