We don't quite know what's going on in the trailer for HBO's new fantasy series Westworld, but we're still very much here for it.

OK, we kind of know what's going on. The thriller is based on the 1973 Michael Crichton film of the same name, and it's about a futuristic theme park where visitors can hang out with androids in a very realistic wild west.

The ten-episode first season, which will debut sometime this fall, stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Shannon Woodward, and more as both guests and operators of the theme park, called Westworld.

In the movie, the androids revolted after a malfunction. The series puts the focus on the androids, who have no idea that they're androids and not actually just the gun-slinging residents of an old Western town.

Based on the trailer above, which aired before Sunday's epic Game of Thrones, this show is going to be sexy, scary, intense, and about as big in scope as Game of Thrones, and that cast is just incredible. We cannot wait to constantly question the nature of our reality on a weekly basis as soon as this show actually debuts.

What did you think of the trailer? Sound off in the comments!
