TwitterIt's a very special Father's Day in the Clinton household.
Just one day after announcing the birth of their second child, Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky took to social media where they shared the first photos of their son, Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky.
"At 7:41 AM Saturday, our family and hearts expanded with Aidan's arrival," Chelsea shared on Twitter while holding her baby. "We are blessed."
Former President Bill Clinton also posted a photo online where he was seen meeting his grandson for what could be the very first time. "Aidan has made two dads very happy this Father's Day," he wrote. "Hillary and I are thrilled for Marc and Chelsea!"
And while former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may be hard at work campaigning in hopes of becoming the next President of the United States, the proud grandma also had the opportunity to meet her newest family member.
"What a joy being with our new grandson, Aidan," she shared on Twitter Sunday afternoon. "So grateful. -H"
During her second pregnancy journey, Chelsea revealed a few hints that she was more than thrilled to welcome another family member. Just days after announcing she was expecting baby No. 2, the former White House resident said everyone was "so excited" before asking, "Could you imagine a better present?"
As for how parenthood changed Chelsea, she'll be the first to admit that it took some getting used to. But like so many moms know, it just takes a little bit of time to balance everything.
"I figured it out, but it took a while to figure it out," she admitted to E! News' Maria Menounos. "It also just took lots of, like...it's swallowing my pride and being comfortable with pumping in airport bathrooms and kind of wherever I needed to get it done."
She continued, "I wish there sort of been a guidebook on how do you think about this really, and how do you make this work?" Something tells us Chelsea will be a pro in the months ahead. Congratulations to the happy couple!
