Summer 2016 is the year silver and gold dresses take a back seat.

Although bronze is third place on the podium, it's number one in the hearts of these A-list style stars. Metallics are always a fun choice when it comes to standing out in a sea of LBDs, but the typical metals you're used to wearing have had their time in the spotlight.

This summer, it's time to get your bronze on…and we're not just talking about your glowing skin.

Reason #3: Bronze means standing out while keeping things low-key. Because of its subtle brown undertones, the color isn't in your face but its metallic shimmer (or, in Alexa Chung's case, all-over sequins) will still turn heads.
