Paul Walker would be an extra proud dad right about now.

Meadow Walker continued to honor her father's legacy when she presented Adrian Grenier with the 2016 Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award this weekend at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

During the ceremony broadcast on Facebook Live, viewers witnessed the actor receive a special award for his work with Lonely Whale. The foundation is dedicated to bringing people closer to the world's oceans through education and awareness.

"It's an honor to receive the Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award," Adrian said during his speech. "I share Paul's inquisitiveness for the mystery of the ocean and the great potential it holds for new discoveries that will enrich the lives and inspire the curiosities of the next several generations."

He added, "I also share Paul's passion for ocean health and recognize that we have an opportunity to create real and lasting change that will benefit our marine environment and ultimately ourselves."

Meadow started the Paul Walker Foundation in 2015 on what would have been her dad's 42nd birthday. Since then, she has been able to recognize individuals for their contributions to ocean wildlife.

"My dad was in awe of the ocean and wanted to see it protected," Meadow recently shared with E! News. "It's exciting to know scholarships and students will ensure the future of our oceans. It's an honor to be supporting them and the Monterey Bay Aquarium's teen program."

At last year's ceremony, the world-renowned aquarium reiterated Paul's devotion to the ocean and the creatures that call it home.

Paul Walker's Biggest Movies

"The public knew Paul Walker best for his roles as an actor, the Fast & Furious series among many others. We knew him as an aspiring marine biologist and a lifelong friend of the ocean," executive director of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Julie Packard said. "Growing up, Paul was inspired by Jacques Cousteau—his mentor and role model. He studied marine biology in college and planned to make that his career before he was drawn into acting. But the ocean was never far from his life—or his concerns."

Since the foundation's inception, Meadow along with many other fans can't help but acknowledge how much it has grown and expanded to make a significant difference.

"I love so much about him," Meadow once wrote on Instagram. "I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with others...I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father."
