What Is Wrong With Claire (and Her Baby) in This Outlander First Look?

Claire's pregnancy looks like it's in trouble in this exclusive first look

Things are getting intense on Outlander. 

With the return of Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies), Claire (Caitriona Balfe) couldn't be under any more stress...or so we thought.

In this exclusive first look at this week's episode, Claire is clearly under a whole lot of pressure, and she's clutching her baby bump and appears to be in an awfully big hurry, with help from her butler, Magnus (Robbie McIntosh). 

Is the baby coming early, or is Claire rushing off to save her husband from trouble once again? Either way, something doesn't look good. 

Last week, Jamie (Sam Heughan) challenged Black Jack to a duel upon his discovery that the evil English captain was still alive and in Paris. 

Claire, however, feared for the life of her past and future husband, since Black Jack is his ancestor, and if Black Jack dies before fathering a child, Frank will never exist. She made Jamie promise to wait a year before killing his greatest enemy, but Jamie's not exactly known for having the greatest self control. 

We'll have to wait until Saturday to find out if that promise is kept, and exactly what is going on in the photo above!

Outlander airs Saturday at 9 p.m. on Starz.
