Kathy Griffin to Ryan: "Good Luck, Bastard!"

But she's kidding. My Life on the D-List star Kathy Griffin, who once cohosted Live from the Red Carpet for E! herself, showed she holds no grudges as she hit the carpet tonight. "I hate to say it. I'm actually here to wish you good luck," she admitted to Ryan Seacrest, who's doing double duty hosting E!'s show and the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards.

But then Griffin, already the winner in this year's Best Reality Program category, revealed her true motive: "I'm hoping you do something really hideous. I have my special coming up, and I could use my Seacrest seven- or eight-minute chunk. You're going down. Good luck, bastard!"
