Despite breakout seasons for 30 Rock and Ugly Betty, the enduring popularity of Two and a Half Men and the glamour of Entourage, The Office still stands head and shoulders above every other "laffer" on television. It is simply a perfect storm of popularity and critical acclaim, and it should blow away the competition.
