Congrats to the winners of the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards!
Three preliminary winners were revealed Wednesday, March 23—Kelsea Ballerini, who won New Female Vocalist of the Year, Chris Stapleton, who was named New Male Vocalist of the Year and Old Dominion, who won New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year. These mark the first ACM Awards for the three. Ballerini and Old Dominion received a total of two nods each, while Stapleton received five nominations, making the singer one of the most nominated performers this year.
Additional winners will be revealed during the 2016 ACM Awards ceremony, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3 and air on CBS. The co-hosts are Luke Bryan, who won Entertainer of the Year in 2015, and Dierks Bentley.
