Netflix is staying in the Aziz Ansari business.
The streaming giant has renewed the comedian's acclaimed comedy Master of None for a second season, E! News has learned. Ansari himself shared the great news with the world on Thursday, tweeting, "Master of None season 2 coming 2017. Thanks for all the support everyone!!"
The series, created by Ansari and Alan Yang, tells the story of Dev, a 30-something actor making his way through life in New York City. Ansari stars alongside Noel Wells, Eric Wareheim, Kelvin Yu, and Lena Waithe. The 10-episode first season took home the Critic's Choice Television Award for Best Comedy Series, while also earning Ansari a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a TV Series - Musical or Comedy.
