The two have welcomed their second child together, a baby boy named Leo.
Scanavino, who plays Detective Sonny Carisi on the crime show, announced the happy news and posted a photo of their newborn son, sleeping and wrapped in a blanket, on his Twitter page on Friday.
"Welcome to the world Leo," the 35-year-old actor wrote.
The Law & Order: SVU family has seen a baby boom over the past few months. Co-star Ice-T, 57, and wife Coco, 36, welcomed their first child together, daughter Chanel Nicole, in late November. Fellow cast member Kelli Giddish, 35, gave birth to her and husband Lawrence Faulborn's first baby, Ludo, a month earlier.

On Friday, Giddish retweeted Scanavino's photo of his newborn son, saying, "Welcome!"
Main SVU star Mariska Hargitay, a 51-year-old mother of three, also retweeted the actor.
"I can't wait to meet you!" she wrote.
Leight posted side-by-side pics of Scanavino and Giddish's baby boys.
"Leo, meet Ludo. Ludo, meet Leo," he tweeted.
