Coldplay and the Jonas Brothers go together like, well, Grammy nominees, of course.

The acts scored top nominations tonight for the 51st annual Grammy Awards.

Coldplay notched an Album of the Year nod for Viva La Vida. Also nominated: Lil Wayne, for Tha Carter III; Ne-Yo, for Year of the Gentleman; and, fun-music-couple Alison Krauss and Robert Plant, for Raising Sand. Radiohead rounded out the category with a nod for In Rainbows, thus potentially causing Grammy-scoring headaches for people who think Radiohead is Coldplay or vice versa.

Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas are up for Best New Artist. Their competition: UK singer-songwriters Adele and Duffy; the Philadelphia R&B star Jazmine; and, the country group Lady Antebellum. Performers billed by their first and last names apparently were disqualified.

Nominations are being announced now during a first-ever "nominations concert" held in Los Angeles, and airing live in some times zones on CBS.

The 51st annual Grammy Awards are set for Feb. 8.
