Nothing like kicking off an upcoming One Direction album release with a few must-listen covers from the guys themselves!
Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne joined forces for an unplugged jam session at BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" earlier today, giving fans an opportunity to hear some of their new music from Made in the A.M. as well as relive some of their unforgettable older hits.
1D also won raves for their multiple covers, giving a fresh spin to Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" and Kanye West, Rihanna and Paul McCartney's "FourFiveSeconds."

A major #TBT to the group's humble beginnings, only true Directioners would understand the importance of the band's "Torn" rendition.
Back in 2010, when 1D was merely five lads (pre-Zayn Malik's departure) brought together by Simon Cowell, the band famously performed the song on X Factor and—as they say—the rest is history.
But in all honesty, if you're looking to remember what Harry looked like with much shorter curls and if Louis ever recovered from a mysterious sea urchin attack, the original performance of the 90s hit is an absolute can't miss.

The guys then rocked the house with a soulful cover of "FourFiveSeconds." Wonder what Sir McCartney would have to say about his fellow Brits paying homage to the hit song?
There's no telling if One Direction's latest live performance will break the Internet quite like Louis' epic solo in "End of the World" did earlier this week, but when it comes to their extremely loyal fandom anything is possible.
