Can you believe it's been an entire year since Kim Kardashian...and her butt...broke the Internet?

On this Throwback Thursday, we remember how in November 2014 around this time, the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star bared it all for Paper magazine, which featured her showcasing her bare behind on the cover and full-frontal nudity in a racy photo shoot. (For free, too.)

The photographer Jean-Paul Goude shot the pictures in Paris. An alternative cover showed Kim wearing a black gown and recreating a non-naked version of the man's 1976 "Champagne Incident" portrait, by holding a bottle of Champagne that sends a stream over her head into a glass...perched on her butt.

"And they say I didn't have a talent...try balancing a champagne glass on your ass LOL #BreakTheInternet," Kim tweeted at the time.

Speaking of recreations, the pictures sparked a ton of memes and parodies.

A source had told E! News there was never a plan to pose completely naked, adding that Kim "was all game for anything and the art of it" and that she "will continue to do sexy shoots as long as she's in shape."

"Kanye loves it," the source said.

The photos did indeed win the approval of husband Kanye West, 38, with whom Kim is currently expecting a second child.

"#ALLDAY," the rapper tweeted.

Celebrity reactions were mixed. Alyssa Milano questioned why many people made such a big big deal about her breastfeeding selfies, but were OK seeing Kim's "amazing" "booty cover."

Others were less impressed. Conservative The View co-host and Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure tweeted, "How much longer do I have to look at Kim Kardashian's butt on my twitter feed? Ugh"

Glee alum Naya Rivera seemingly threw some shade in the form of an comment posted on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's Instagram page.

In August, Paper revisited the now-famous photo shoot with a tweet that referenced West's declaration at the 2015 MTV VMAs that he plans to run for president in 2020.

"All rise for your First Lady, @KimKardashian #West2020," the magazine's post read.
