"We had 98 Degrees. We had O-Town. We had 'N Sync and then we had Backstreet. All in the building. At once."
Dancing With the Stars became boy band headquarters on Monday night, thanks to Nick Carter's amazing performance of the Backstreet Boys' most iconic song, "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." The throwback routine, which was choreographed to perfection (Those "Thriller" arm moves!) by Nick's professional partner and self-professed huge BSB fan Sharna Burgess, earned a 27/30 from the judges, with Nick telling E! News after the show, "It was a lot to take in for me."
A lot for us to take in? All the former boy band members who came out to support Nick, causing every fangirl—current and former—to lose their mind!
"I got all my boys from all these different boy bands supporting me—from Joey [Fatone], AJ [McLean] from my band, guys from O-Town, they're all in the front row," Carter revealed, adding 98 Degrees member Jeff Timmons was also in the crowd. "What a sweetheart, a great guy. Seriously, he's amazing," Carter gushed.
And for those of you singing "Liquid Dreams," the O-Town members that were in attendance were Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada, and Trevor Penick.
"That's our boy!! All 9s!!" the Backstreet Boys tweeted after the "iconic" performance. "Love you @nickcarter #TeamSharNick #DWTS." Awww!
