Because he and his brothers are blogging about it.
While "it's our normal rule to avoid talking about our private lives," the singer and his fellow JoBros Nick and Kevin have taken to MySpace to give his side of the sort-of story.
"I never cheated on a girlfriend," wrote Joe. "Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on."
Maybe, indeed. Moreover, Joe hasn't dumped anyone with a "27 second" phone call, either.
"Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call," he continued.
