Gigi Hadid's group of friends isn't your typical Hollywood bad girls.
The 20-year-old supermodel recently opened up to Who What Wear about her famous squad, which includes Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevinge, Selena Gomez and even more A-listers, and the undeniable admiration they share for one another.
Hadid remembers It-girls of the fashion industry's past, saying, "The pictures of them at events together, backstage together, are so iconic and it's really cool now that I feel there's a group of girls again that are gonna create that. Like the whole 'squad goals' thing is a very big thing right now. I feel like as models, we're kind of getting to experience what they did."
The blond beauty also discussed a "big conversation" the gal-pals had about having each other's backs before filming Swift's star-studded "Bad Blood" music video.
"For [Swift] it was really a way to show that she supports her friends so much and that we support her back," Hadid said. "We all took time out of our schedules to be there and she wanted to make us look hot and powerful. It was a big, amazing thing to be a part of."
But besides encouraging each other's professional careers, Hadid says she hopes her crew can be role models for other tight-knight friendships.
"We want to be known as the group of girls that are known for our kindness, rather than our cattiness," Gigi said.
