Blake Shelton isn't hiding under a rock.

In fact, the country music superstar has continued to work in the wake of his divorce from Miranda Lambert. E! News has obtained the exclusive first photos of Shelton since their breakup was announced. The 39-year-old "Honey Bee" singer was photographed in West Hollywood Wednesday just as he was leaving closed rehearsals for the ninth season of The Voice, which returns Sept. 21 on NBC.

"Back to work filming @NBCTheVoice today," the twice-wed singer tweeted. "Wonder if I'm gonna be the only one who rolls in a full ice chest....?"

Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will also be back for The Voice.

Shelton waved goodbye to one of the show's assistant directors and left as a passenger in a Chrysler minivan. Hours later, Lambert was seen in public for the first time since the divorce when she performed during the Ashley Monroe and Friends concert presented by SiriusXM at The Basement East in Nashville.

The "Red River Blue" singers announced their divorce Monday.

"This is not the future we envisioned," said the exes, who wed Spring 2011. "And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

Over the course of their four-year marriage, a source tells E! News, "They grew apart." When he wasn't on tour, Shelton was often in California to mentor contestants on The Voice. Lambert, meanwhile, was either on the road or spending time at one of their homes in Nashville and Oklahoma. "They spent so little time together it became hard to have a relationship," the source explains to E! News.

As an insider said Wednesday, "They both put work before their relationship."

So far, it seems their split has been an amicable one. "Their family and friends feel this decision is the best for them...They both hope in the future they can remain friends, but for now, they both know that after this divorce they need space and time to just be alone and not in [touch] for a bit," the insider told E! News.
