Hip hop stars are out in force surfing the Obama wave. First Will.i.am stops by Oprah's show to drop his latest Obama anthem, "It's a New Day." And now Chicago rapper Common has leaked a song from his next CD, due out December 9. Give it a listen above.
And Common ain't the least bit shy about lobbying for an even more momentous release January 20: "I wrote this song to inspire the young world to believe that change can happen. To be honest, I also envisioned it as a great inaugural song for Barack Obama."
