Actress gives birth to first child, daughter named Willow Katherine White

Michelle Monaghan's next mission impossible: surviving an ankle biter.

The star of such films as Mission: Impossible III, Eagle Eye and Made of Honor, is a first-time mommy after giving birth to a baby girl Wednesday in Los Angeles.

"They're doing great," publicist tells E! News.

Monaghan and husband Peter White named their daughter Willow Katherine White. No further details were disclosed.

Monaghan, 32, met White, a native Australian and graphic designer, at a party eight years ago and they married in 2005. She revealed she was preggers in June.
