For those who missed the big news, E! News exclusively confirmed that the Real Housewives of New York City star is dating Eric Stonestreet.
And as soon as the news broke, we just had to talk about it with some of Frankel's friends. Turns out Patti Stanger is a major supporter of this blossoming new relationship.
"It's unusual. But they're both successful, they're both smart," she told E! News Tuesday night at Lelo's Pop-Up Shop at New York's Pleasure Chest. "It's great for her to get on the acting radar and say she's dating actors so she can jump up."
She added, "It's a bit of social-climbing move. But Eric's a cool, midwestern dude."
Frankel's co-star Carole Radziwill was a bit quieter when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday night. But before chatting with Andy Cohen, the best-selling author admitted that the Modern Family star seems like a pretty great guy.
"I met him once really briefly, but he seems like a nice guy," she told E! News. "He was very nice. I don't talk about my friends publicly but if you want to ask me about my love life, I'll be happy to answer."
For the record, she's still enjoying time with Chef Adam who fans met this season on RHONY. "I'm still dating this very attractive tall chef," she explained. "And we're having fun."
And that may be the case for Frankel and Stonestreet who have been enjoying each other's company casually for a few months now. In fact, the two was spotted hanging out together back in May at the 2015 CAA Upfronts Celebration Party.
"I'm very happy right now," Frankel cryptically tweeted earlier this month. "It took me a minute but I'm here. Xo."
She added, "I've really changed my mind on something: I think if u have a great textual banter, compatibility is likely."
