Slay, Ciara. SLAY.

It's not uncommon that there can be underwhelming and (hilarious, let's be real) musical flubs when a celeb takes on singing the National Anthem during a big sports event (no pressure or anything), but that's not the case here.

The R&B singer took the field to sing the patriotic tune during tonight's MLB All-Star game at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Ciara belted an acapella rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" with three backup singers, and did an absolutely fantastic job.

She also responded to a few tweeters who gave the girl props for her vocal chops on Twitter, writing, "Thank You So Much!! What An Amazing Experience #Grateful!"

Platinum-selling MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner also sang "God Bless America," and Leo Welsh performed the Canadian Anthem.

The 29-year-old's new flame Russell Wilson also tweeted ahead of tonight's big festivities to show his girl some support before she hit the field. "I can't wait to watch my girl @Ciara perform the National Anthem at the @MLB All-Star Game tomorrow night!"

So cute! These two will also be attending the ESPYS in L.A. on Wednesday and Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports Awards on Thursday, which will be hosted by Wilson. "I have a good date. She's a 15 out of 10 as I always say," he recently told E! News. "Ciara will be there. She'll be at the show and she has a little spot on the show so it will be fun."

To add to Ciara's jam-packed week, her video for her new single "Dance Like We're Making Love" is set to premiere Thursday on the Jumbotron in New York's Times Square, and we can expect a doozy. "This is my best video to date," she recently said.
