Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue...but wait! Where is everybody?!

One bride almost found herself without a bridal party last Saturday after the car carrying her bridesmaids and her mother found broke down en route to her wedding. Luckily, a good Samaritan saw their distress on the side of the road, and gave the women a ride to the wedding venue.

And afterward, the bride, Bethany Mouatt, decided she just had to thank the stranger who got her girls to the church on time! She told Britain's Telegraph how it all went down:

"There had been a few dilemmas leading up to the wedding day, including the taxis booked for the bridesmaids turning up a little late," she recalled. "In a fluster, we all started our journey to the venue, Tower Hill Barns.

"I got in to my wedding car and was waving to the others as they passed. We got a little further up the road and all I could see was three of my bridesmaids and my mum standing at the side of the road and my heart just sank. I didn't have my phone with me and there was nothing I could do, so I spent the following 15 minutes panicking about what was going on not knowing what was about to unfold."

Mouatt continued, "The taxi had broken down and the driver radioed through for a replacement but they were all booked and the women were told it would be 30 minutes before another one could reach them."

But then their knight in shining armor came along.

Not wanting the good deed to go un-thanked, Mouatt whipped up a social media frenzy in order to find the kind stranger who helped deliver her bridesmaids safely to the wedding venue.

Mouatt took to Facebook, writing:

"Ok folks of Facebook land I need your help.... Yesterday I had a wonderful day and married the love of my life, however the day didn't start too smoothly. On the way to the wedding the car that was driving my bridesmaids to the ceremony broke down en route, meaning my bridesmaids resorted to hitch hiking. A lovely lovely lady pulled over on a dual carriageway, rescuing my bridesmaids and the mother of the bride, and brought them to the ceremony. We didn't have chance to thank the lady properly and don't have any contact details. This happened at about 2.45pm ish on the A483 in Wrexham, and the ceremony took place at Tower Hill Barns. Please can you share this post and see if we can track her down? Thanks guys!"

After her post was shared close to 17,000 times, Mouatt connected with the hero and once again took to Facebook to thank everyone and their efforts.

"Well, after a pretty mental couple of hours we have managed to track down the lovely lady who came to my rescue yesterday," she wrote. "The power of social media! Thank you so much for all of the shares! x"
