Ain't no party like a nerd party!

And there ain't no nerd party like San Diego Comic-Con, the annual convention for all things geeky aka the best four days of the summer. In real-life, I'm often made fun of for my obsessive love of superhero and supernatural entertainment. But at the Con? I'm one of the many. And it's freakin' awesome.

As E! Online's TV Scoop Editor, I am lucky enough to get to interview some of the stars and creative teams behind my favorite shows (The Flash! The 100! Teen Wolf!), as well as go to some of the biggest parties of the year. I almost feel like a jerk because I get to do this for a living. (Keyword: almost.)

Curious to know what life is like for press at Comic-Con? Using my LG G4 device, I documented what two days at the Con looks like for me, when I am pulling double duty as a reporter AND a fan...

Friday

My day kicked off in an awesome way: interviewing one of my favorite casts on TV! The 100's Eliza Taylor, Marie Avgeropoulos and Isaiah Washington stopped by with executive producer Jason Rothenberg to dish on the new season, and I got to give Eliza her trophy for winning Best Kiss in our Best. Ever. TV. Awards! Seriously, how gorgeous do they look in that photo? The display on the LG G4 device is so clear, it's almost insane sometimes. Also, they are really pretty. So that helps.

Sadly, Eliza's kissin' partner-in-crime Alycia Debnam-Carey wasn't with her as well, but I did get to give Alycia her own trophy the next day.

Confession: I generally don't stop and take a lot of photos when I'm on the floor. Not because I don't want to, but because I'm always in such a rush. Still, after filming our 60 second tour of the convention center floor, I couldn't resist stopping to take a photo with the Jurassic World raptors. Watch out, Chris Pratt, there's a new Alpha! #Squadgoals.

After that, I was off to watch the panel for The 100, which was so entertaining I forgot to take photos! Oops!

I did NOT, however, forget to take photos with Kylo Ren's (Adam Driver) controversial new crossguard lightsaber from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which I literally snatched out of a poor Con go-er's hand. Even better? That a guy sleeping inadvertently photobombed the snap, making it look like I took him out. Bow before, Darth Tierney!

After that (and the massacre of a Quest protein bar), it was back to interviews. I stopped by the press room for The Walking Dead to stare at Andrew Lincoln for a bit. Did I say stare? I totally meant interview. Don't be TOO jealous though as I didn't have the chance to fully interview Norman Reedus, though we did have a quick chat about the Furbacca (Furby + Chewbacca!), before I had to duck out early to interview some teenage wolves...

Back at E! New's LG G4 Suite, I had too much fun interviewing the Teen Wolf boys, including Tyler Posey, Cody Christian and Dylan Sprayberry. Please note that Dylan ended up stealing my pink shades to wear because it was so sunny. Oh, and I am SO short that I had to stand on an apple box, even though I was wearing four-inch heels. (Thanks, mom and dad!)

And before the boys left, we had some fun with the props in the LG G4 Suite. I kind of love that Tyler is wearing the Princess Leia buns, especially because so many people (myself included!) are rooting for his co-star/BFF Dylan O'Brien to land the role of a young Han Solo.

To end my work day, I attened The Originals panel in Ballroom 20, which was one of the coolest experiences of the Con for me personally as I got to sit with my best friend/roommate Carina MacKenzie, who is a writer on the show, and some of her fellow writers. Talk about surreal. So, of course, we documented the moment with a selfie. As all major BFF moments should be documented.

After a quick outfit change, it was time to hit a few parties, always the best part of SDCC. At the WB TV bash, I snapped another selfie with Carina along with our other roomie Emily Bett Rickards, whom you know and obviously love as Felicity on Arrow. Everyone was totally obsessed with the beauty filter on my LG G4...leading to WAY too many selfies.

I also got to spend some time with my stunning friend Lindsey Morgan, one of The 100's badass ladies, as well as hang with her co-star Marie again for a bit. Have I mentioned you should totally be watching The 100? Consider it your summer binge-watch assignment!

After the WB party ended, it was time to dance the night away at Nerd HQ, Zachary Levi's annual SDCC fiesta. So much dancing. So many blisters. So worth it.

Saturday

Another great way to kick off a looong day at Comic-Con? Interviewing the cast for one of the most highly anticipated new shows of the year: Fear the Walking Dead! It was even more fun because I got to give them their Best. Ever. TV. Award, and give Alycia her trophy for winning Best Guest Star for her work as Lexa on The 100. Too bad we both weren't xcited over this at all. (Just look at those faces in the photo above!) Psst: she's coming back in season three, too!

The good times kept on rollin' when the cast of The Flash zoomed in, and kicked off our interview with a dance party. Never a dull moment with these guys. Anyone else loving Grant Gustin's warrior Princess Leia?! And I think I may develop a Vampire Thor movie. Sounds like it could do really well, no?

So am I just really short or are Tom Cavanagh, John Wesley Shipp and EP Andrew Kreisberg just really tall? (To answer your question: I am 5'1 on my very best days.)

While making a speedy trip to the convention center floor to try and snag some swag for my dad (which did not end up happening! Sorry, dad. But maybe if you were taller, I would've tried harder.), I HAD to take a photo of one of the best Marty McFlys I have ever seen. (And look at Griff in the background!)

After a super-quick and nutritious lunch (JK, I ate a bag of peanut M&Ms and I regret nothing!), it was time for legendary interview with DC's Legends of Tomorrow, including Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Caity Lotz and Ciara Renee, as well as executive producer Phil Klemmer. You can tell how excited I was by how hard I am cheesin' in that first photo. Whatever. If loving superheroes is cool, consider me Miles Davis.

Also, Caity knew what she was doing what that plastic sword. Super cool to see her awesome skills in-person. White Canary, I love you so.

And what better way to wrap up a busy day at the Con than with an interview with the cast of Supergirl, who joked that we were all going to get matching tattoos after our chat. Spoiler alert: I got mine on my ankle.

if you've actually made it this far, congratulations on reaching the end of my super self-indulgent and selfie-filled diary. I am who I am. This year's Comic-Con, my fifth (Do I get a pin?!), was one of the best ever, filled with a lot of belly laughs, scoop, geeking out and love. It's not often that you are surrounded by that many people who all just love to love things and love them together. That sounded gross, but you know what I mean.

'Til next Con!
