Amber Rose is a self-proclaimed "feminist monster," and she's got no problem telling everyone why.

During an interview with, she explains how social media has helped shift her perspective on major issues like sex, self-confidence and much more.

"I was always about girl power, but I didn't quite get it because I did always feel like I had to be completely submissive to a man. I was always very unhappy doing that. I think I needed time to grow up," she explained.

"You get to a certain point in your life where you really find out who you are, and sometimes that happens when you're 25, but for me, it was 31. I didn't quite know that before. I guess social media did help create the feminist monster that I've become."

Rose also admitted that she first tried stripping at 15, but didn't think it was right for her at the time.

"I did it and I was like, 'Oh, hell no, I cannot do this.' I was a kid. I think I was still a virgin at the time. Being onstage with my boobs out, it was like, 'Oh my god, this is not for me.'"

Rose did, however, go back to dancing when she was 18 and continued for seven years.

"I had so much fun…That was the best time of my life. All the girls were really cool. The guys weren't allowed to touch you. I was never sexually assaulted or [anything]."

Wiz Khalifa's ex also believes that the secret to her social media success is due largely in part because of how unfiltered she is—no pun intended.

"I think the turning point was when I just stopped giving a f--k about what people say. One day I just woke up and I was like, 'You know what? I can't sit around and stress anymore about the internet and what people say about me. I just gotta do me.'"
