Milla Jovovich recently had her newborn daughter baptized and shared several gorgeous photos, the most precious showing the child with her big sister!
The 39-year-old Resident Evil actress, who was born in the former Soviet Union, now Ukraine, and speaks several languages, including fluent Russian, and husband Paul W. S. Anderson, 50, the sci-fi franchise's director, writer and creator, welcomed Dashiel Edan, their second child together, on April 1. She joins their daughter Ever Gabo, 7.
The baby was baptized at the Holy Transfiguration Russian Orthodox Church in Los Angeles.
Dashiel's godfather, Jovovich's longtime friend and fellow musician Chris Brenner, shared on his Instagram page a beautiful photo of the little girl, the actress' mini-me, holding her baby brother.
"It was a beautiful service and I am a very proud godfather!" he said.
Jovovich shared on her Instagram page the same pic, in black and white, saying the baptism was "incredible."
"Such a gorgeous ceremony, so peaceful and spiritual," she wrote. "Thank you to the very special godfather @chrissbrenner for this stunning pic of my two beauties! #evergabo #dashieledan #ladiary."
Jovovich said alongside another photo, which shows her holding her baby daughter and wearing a scarf over her hair, that the christening was "held at a traditional Russian Orthodox Church in Los Angeles and its respectful for women to cover their heads before entering."
