Anna Faris is a lucky lady—and she knows it, too!

During Wednesday's "For Your Consideration" Television Academy screening and Q&A for CBS' Mom in Burbank, Calif., the actress told E! News that she was shocked by the touching tribute Chris Pratt wrote during last week's Reddit AMA session. "He didn't even tell me about it until I literally read it!" she said.

"It was really, really sweet," Faris added. "He's a good man."

During his "Ask Me Anything" session, Pratt gushed about his wife, whom he met in 2007 on the set of Take Me Home Tonight. "Anna and I are meant to be together. Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life," said Pratt, who wed her in 2009.

"She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in L.A. We both got our start in horror spoofs. We both did an animated movie for Phil Lord and Chris Miller. We both made our careers playing guileless nitwits for laughs. We both have parents that have suffered with MS. The similarities go on and on. Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always," the Guardians of the Galaxy star wrote. "And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love."

The What's Your Number? actors connected because they have "too many weird things" in common, Faris said. "We grew up in the same area in Washington State and there aren't that many people. In a town of migrants from all over the country and all over the world, there's a familiarity that we can't even articulate. Sometimes we just look at each other and we're like, 'What is happening? We're on this crazy weird acting wagon and we can't get off.' I'm just really lucky that I found somebody [and] we understand each other so well."

How is Pratt as a parent? According to Faris, he is a "generous" father. "My son Jack just trails Chris around. He's such a little daddy's boy. I get so much delight out of watching them be together. I don't know if everybody always fits into that."

The actress doesn't yet know how she'll spend Mother's Day next weekend.

"I hope there's jewelry involved!" she told E! News.

Knowing Pratt, she'll get much more than that!
