As some of us are still recovering from Coachella weekend one, many of you are just getting back from weekend two, and we couldn't not tell you what we thought of the EDM takeover. Our golden rule was to pack those comfy kicks because, wait for it, over 40 percent of this years' performers were electronic (aka giant dance party)—the most ever in Coachella history.

We spoke to Kaskade—the only EDM artist to take main stage—right before he performed with some 70,000 people watching his set. Kaskade exclusively told E! News, "I am charged with adrenaline, so much so that I feel like I could lift a car over my head.  It's crazy!"  We're told more people watched his set than Drake's!

What is it about this magical music that gets people going? We spoke to Dirty South, another one of the festivals hottest EDM names, who exclusively told E! News, "It's a mixture between energy and emotions, build-ups and drops. I think everyone just wants more and more energy."

Dirty South, who first performed at Coachella a few years ago, noted, "The festival has got bigger, I remember playing Sahara tent back in 2010 and it was big, but nothing like this."

Yup, this year EDM artists attracted the biggest crowds in the history of Coachella making this year the year for electronic music.
