The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama is continuing off-screen. RHOBH star Kim Richards was arrested on Thursday, April 16 and charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer, but don't expect this latest scandal to play out on screens…yet.

The Bravo reality show wrapped production months ago, with the reunion filming in February 2015. According to a source, once the show wraps production with the reunion, everyone takes a few months before discussing the new season. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has yet to officially be renewed, but you can expect it to return. Reports about Bravo giving an ultimatum to Kim regarding treatment are false.

"Everyone at the network is shocked and sad about Kim. We only want what's best for her," a source told us.

Kim's sobriety was at the center of this past season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills following Eileen Davidson's poker night when Kim admitted to taking a pain pill belonging to her ailing ex-husband. Her behavior alarmed the other women, mainly Lisa Rinna, and the events served to create a bigger rift between Kim and sister Kyle Richards.

"I was sad to hear about Kim's incident and I wish her and her family the best," Lisa R. said on Twitter. Kyle has not made public comments since Kim's arrested, but RHOBH executive producer and reunion host Andy Cohen has spoken out.

"I reached out to Kyle and I think the family is obviously very concerned," Cohen told Ryan Seacrest. "This is a topic that ran through the entire season that we just wrapped of Beverly Hills Housewives. I don't know exactly what happened, but I'm thinking of her and I'm glad to hear that she wasn't hurt and no one was hurt. I hope it leads to some peaceful resolution for her and her family."

Kim was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel after police were called following reports of a fight. The reality star was reportedly reeked of alcohol, was belligerent and slurring her speech. Police said she locked herself in a bathroom and refused to emerge before they ultimately brought her in for booking. Kim is due in court on June 10.
