If you're currently sitting at your minimum wage job, trying to kill time before that clock hits 5 p.m., this may not be your favorite article to read. But read it anyway, because who knows? Maybe you'll get inspired!

It's no secret that YouTube has helped a number of people create their own brand through various videos—whether they be makeup tutorials, cooking segments or just comedy skits. But just how much money are these viral video stars making?

A lot. A lot more than you might expect. And the figures might make you sad, so just, be prepared.

Charliscraftykitchen, for example, has become YouTube's largest food channel, according to Outrigger Media (via Ad Age), with over 300,000 subscribers.

The 8-year-old (!) posts weekly clips of herself making a variety of treats in the kitchen. The video "Cupcake Marshmallow Pops" has generated nearly 2 million views since it was posted in February and the channel as a whole gains roughly 29 million views each month.

So how much was Charli's estimated earnings for the month of March? Just short of $128,000. Yep, that's six figures. FOR ONE MONTH. And that's after YouTube's cut.

It's OK to cry. That's a completely valid reaction.

On the beauty side, Spanish YouTube star Yuya is on her way up to 10 million subscribers and tops Outrigger's chart of views in March for that genre.

With close to 36 million views last month, Yuya brought in an estimated $41,475.

But these two stars aren't the only ones, of course. You can see more of the charts and numbers right here.

Meanwhile, we'll be debating whether or not we can afford adding guacamole on our Chipotle order.
