The Fault in Our Stars cutie, 21, and his high school sweetheart, also 21, helped heat things up rink-side at Madison Square Garden with some PDA. And when the twosome weren't mid-smooch, they were laughing, smiling and being almost irritatingly adorable.
But even these longtime loves have gone through rough patches! Back in August 2014, the LaGuardia High School alums split, with sources citing Ansel's busy schedule as the reason behind the breakup. But not five months later, they were back together!
Reason being? Well, as Ansel told Details' March issue, he "was doing OK," as a single guy, "but I knew something was missing, and I was like, 'Oh, that's love.'"
Bachelor life isn't all it's cracked up to be, either, and as Ansel told Elle's March issue, he's strictly a relationship kind of guy. "I prefer being with a girlfriend long-term," he said. "I prefer to be with someone I can trust."
He's a romantic, too, and likes "romanticizing romance." Then again, he's not afraid to kiss and tell just a little when it comes to dishing on what happens in between the sheets. As he put it, "I think I could say this: If you like someone and the sex is really good and you enjoy spending time together, why wouldn't you make that person your girlfriend? Why go around dating random girls and having terrible sex when you can be with someone you really like?"
He continued, theorizing to Elle, "If you can find a girl who you can go to an EDM concert with, have a conversation with, who will sit on the couch and watch you play GTA for three hours—and then you go to bed and have amazing sex? That should be your girlfriend."
If only all guys could figure that out by 21!
