Ireland Baldwin Says She's in Rehab for ''Emotional Trauma,'' Shoots Down ''Intensive Partying'' Report

Model reveals she's in need of "intensive therapy"

Ireland Baldwin is setting the record straight.

A recent report claimed the 19-year-old checked into rehab after her family became worried over her "partying non-stop," and while Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger's daughter confirms she has entered a treatment facility in Malibu, she also took the time to shoot down claims that it has anything to do with her partying. Instead, she shed some light as to the real reason why she chose to get away for a bit.

Baldwin took to Twitter to explain what's really happening in a series of tweets, sharing that she's currently dealing with some "emotional trauma" and was in need of "intensive therapy."

The news comes on the heels of Ireland getting rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after complaining of severe stomach cramps and a source had told E! News that that doctors thought she has appendicitis. On Friday afternoon, she confirmed she does.

"Appendicitis swag," she tweeted, alongside a pic of herself sitting in a wheelchair with one hand propped against her cheek and a fluffy white blanket on her lap. "Thanks for all of your concern."
