Blake Lively can't stop smiling.
But who could blame her? She's a new mom (she gave birth to daughter James about four months ago), her husband is Ryan Reynolds, and she stars in the new and beautifully romantic film The Age of Adaline.
Lively had James with her in Los Angeles this weekend while she was promoting the new movie at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills.
So how is motherhood for the former Gossip Girl star?
"It's the best," Lively beamed. "It's the thing that binds us all—family. We have very unique jobs for a living, but we all are a part of someone's family. It's a nice thing."
But a newborn also means lots of poop and pee.
Lively said she and Reynolds are sharing diaper duties. "I think it's pretty even at our house," she said
Reynolds said a couple of weeks ago that he doesn't mind losing so much sleep these days.
"There have been times where I woke up, literally had no idea I had been walking for five minutes," he told E! News while promoting his new movie Woman in Gold. "But you love it. You wake up in the middle of the night, you got a big stupid smile on your face. I was telling someone else that. Anything else that woke you up every 45 minutes, you'd kill it. But when it's a baby, it's the best thing that ever happened to you."
