A male friend who was walking with actress Bonnie Somerville early Saturday morning was shot in an attempted robbery after leaving the T-Mobile G1 launch party in Hollywood.

Somerville, who played Ross' girlfriend Mona on Friends, was walking on Sunset Boulevard around 2 a.m. with the victim and a female friend.

A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson tells E! "It appears the shooting occurred during an attempted robbery. Two male suspects approached a white male on foot an attempted to rob him."

According to another officer, a struggle broke out, and one of the suspects shot the man with a .22-caliber pistol. The robbers fled in a tan-colored sport utility vehicle without taking anything.

The victim was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he is listed in good condition and expected to survive.

Somerville's rep tells E! that "Bonnie is fine" and will issue a statement by the end of the weekend.

Other celebs at the T-Mobile party included Molly Sims, Britney Snow, Misha Barton and 90210 stars Jessica Stroop, Adam Gregory and Ryan Eggold.
