Elizabeth Hurley made headlines earlier this week when she called her famous ex-boyfriend and fellow actor Hugh Grant "annoying." But that goes both ways, she now jokes.
The 49-year-old, who had made her comments on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, spoke about the 54-year-old actor again in a recent interview with E! News at a GENLUX Magazine" party just ahead of Sunday's premiere of the upcoming scripted E! series The Royals.
"You know, the funny thing is, I haven't heard from him, and normally we talk nearly every day," she said, when asked if he had contacted her about her onscreen comments. "But he wouldn't mind in the slightest. I annoy him too. He finds me incredibly annoying."
The two dated for about 13 years before splitting up in 2000.
Hurley's Watch What Happens Live interview aired about three weeks after
In her interview, Hurley had rated Grant's, er, bedroom performance.
In The Royals, Hurley plays the Queen of England! She told E! News that her 12-year-old son Damian, whose godfather is Grant, "loves" the show and visited her on the set almost every day during the filming of the debut season. The show has already been renewed for a second.
"We're praying he gets a cameo part.," she added.
The Royals premieres Sunday, March 15, at 10 p.m. ET on E!
